Service Description
Qigong treatment at our clinic mainly uses "external qi" (qi from the natural world). External qi therapy is a safe treatment that does not touch the body by introducing qi from outside. There is no need to make special preparations or take off clothes. Depending on the state of qi, we may also perform 10 minutes of Tuina (Chinese acupressure massage) to stimulate the meridians (pathways through which qi flows in the body) and improve the flow of qi. Just to be on the safe side, please come in comfortable clothing suitable for Tuina (massage) (you may bring a change of clothes). Treatment time is approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Many people fall into a light sleep when their qi flow improves during treatment, so we recommend that you allow 60 to 90 minutes between the appointment time and the end of the treatment. This sleep enhances the effects of external qi.
